St. Paul, MN (July 1, 2019): Safe Reflections, a global technology leader in providing reflective solutions to the occupational safety, consumer activewear and military training markets, has been awarded a contract totaling nearly $2.5 million to provide reflective material for United States Air Force and United States Navy training apparel.
“Safe Reflections enjoys a longstanding relationship with the U.S. military and UNICOR, Our Eclipse™ reflective technology enhances safety through visibility and keeps military personnel cool and comfortable while conducting their fitness training.”
This multi-year contract is the latest in a series of military partnerships between Safe Reflections and UNICOR, which manufactures wearables for the U.S. Armed Services. The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy will use Safe Reflections’ Eclipse™ Reflective Logos for its physical training trunks, allowing for superior reflectivity, wash durability and comfort.
Safe Reflections has been providing the military with reflective transfers for over 14 years and have performed under multiple military contracts.
All Safe Reflections Eclipse™ Reflective Logos are made using 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material and the company’s own line of proprietary Tribondex™ adhesives to produce a custom heat transfer application for low-temperature and high-stretch fabrics. This allows the fabric to move with the garment, for maximum breathability and comfort, a critical consideration for the U.S. military. All components are made in the U.S.A.
